BUSHCRAFT

Bushcraft refers to wilderness skills and traditional outdoor know-how that allow you to move, live, and feel at home in the forest or backcountry — on nature’s terms.

It’s not just about survival. It’s about being safe, skilled, and confident in the outdoors, using time-tested techniques and natural materials to live simply and respectfully in nature.

Core bushcraft skills include:

  • Fire making – using matches, firesteels, or traditional friction methods
  • Shelter building – with natural materials or tarps
  • Using knives and axes – for carving, splitting, and camp crafts
  • Identifying wild edible and medicinal plants
  • Navigation – with map, compass, or natural signs
  • Finding and purifying water
  • Woodcraft – crafting tools and utensils from wood
  • Tracking and observing wildlife

"We promote awareness, appreciation, and respect for our pure northern nature and unique cultural heritage."
